Relationship question?

Ok, so there was something I asked my girlfriend not to do(we compromised actually to come up with a solution) and she agreed to it, but today I saw that she did it again. So I kind of lost control and went off on her pretty harshly and took it into my own hands. So then she called me and told me never to contact her again(she did that before, but she could actually mean it this time...Just so you guys know that we broke up and made up a lot in the past). What should I do? Was I wrong? Should I try to talk to her? Should I wait for her to talk to me and leave her alone like she wants? I do love her, we've been together for a pretty long time.
